What is the best way to apply for a job in another state? ?
I am moving to Wichita, KS from southern Oklahoma. I do go to Wichita somewhat often but usually on the weekend only. I am trying to apply online but wonder if it will be better to just take resumes to places where I'd like to work. Have you done this successfully? Any suggestions?

Contact each company you're interested in and follow their guidelines. Some prefer in-person applications, while others want on-line apps only. Whichever one you do, just be sure they are free of all errors and look professional no matter what type of job you're interested in. First impressions really do matter. And always follow up an application with a phone call after a week.

I am planning to purchase a house in Wichita falls Texas, in 2007. I get these emails to purchase a list about repos, and foreclosed homes all of the time. Are the list worth it, or are they a ripoff? Are the homes cheaper? Do I need a real estate agent or lawyer to work the transaction? If it is in a location I like, is it better than purchasing a home on the market? Finally, what are the pros and cons in a nut shell about purchasing a repo or a foreclosed home? It has been almost 9 years since I purchased a home, and that one went into foreclosure after the ex lived in it, post divorce!

We bought a foreclosed home last year. Our Realtor showed it to us, just like any other house. It had been vacant for 2 years, and had not been well maintained prior to that. There was some extra paperwork to sign, mostly releasing the bank from any responsibility for things that did not work. Nothing worked. We have been here for almost 6 months, and are still renovating. We knew what we were getting in to when we made the offer. Even with all of the work we have done we have still spent less than half of the market value of other homes in the area. My advice to you would be to work with a Realtor.

Why bother online dating? Most rs girls are usually guys anyways. Like this girl I knew when i was new to game she was fairly high decent lvl and yet her profiles were all guys, and this reminds me I met a couple of friends while I spent a few hours in f2p clanwars w/ith friends and most of emm I added and still talk to after like 5 months and most are always guys. And lastly I got a friend irl who is a guy but uses a girl avatar (idk if he still does I haven't logged in for like ages now) so you should make sure its a girl for real I guess before you fell for a man?

It's a game and usually never works out in real life. Just stay friends because 89.6% people that play runescape are guys.

im 13 about to be 14, my parents said if i can pay for it i can get a cell phone. so i need a job. any places in wichita KS that hire 14 year olds? if not what places would hire me at 15 or 16?

I know that in nyc you can get your workers permit when you turn 14 (i think its the same everywhere in the country) and from there you can star searching for jobs in your neighborhood that will hire you.

see you got some great answers. you can baby sit or go walk dogs. but, you do need a work permit since you are under the age 16 and you have to compeate against a bunch of older people for that same job because our economy isnt doing to well. but if you want want just make a some good safe money enough to buy a new cell phone or supplies for school try this site here copy and paste http://recessionrecover.blogspot.com/ its free and easy to do and they pay you for filling up free offers hope which I do and I get checks in the mail. Geez. One person tells you the minimum age in New York (which would be one heckuva commute, wouldn't it? lol). And the other wants to get you involved in some kind of spam deal. Ouch. Let me see if I can help. In Kansas, the minimum age for a "regular" job (at McDonalds, or a store, for example) is 14. You need to get a work permit from your school to be able to take a job, and there are restrictions on the hours you can work. Of course, being old enough to get a job is one thing; you still have to find someone willing to hire you, which isn't easy in this tough economy. You can also work at the usual jobs kids get, like baby-sitting, pet care, and that sort of thing, and you don't need a work permit for that. All right, I work for the Wichita Wingnuts as a promotions intern. I've been working since opening day for the team. Three weeks into the season, a Sports Management graduate student comes in (I'm in high school). At first he seemed nice, but then he just started to become a jerk. Many claim the reason is because he's married (He's an intern at 25 and he's freakin MARRIED!!). He bosses all of his co-workers around like slaves, even his superiors. He ALWAYS has this attitude of I'm better than you and I know it. He never shaves and always comes late I've tried to ignore him, but he's so damn annoying.
